The Portal of the Virgin, dedicated to the patroness of the cathedral, was sculpted around 1210-20. The abutments of the doors have panels representing the cycle of earthly life, including the zodiac signs and Labors of the Months. Shown here is probably Libra the Scales, missing both head and scales.
