- Epitaph of the deceased on the Sarcophagus of Marcia Romania Celsa, white marble, c.330-35. Discovered at Trinquetaille in 1974. The Latin inscription reads: XVII KAL(ENDAS) APR(ILES), HIC QVIESCET IN PACE MARCIA ROMANIA CELSA C(LARISSIMA) F(EMINA) QVE VIXIT A(NNOS) XXXVIII M(ENSES) II DIES XI FL(AVIUS) IANVARINUS, V(IR) C(LARISSIMUS) EX CONS(ULE) ORD(I)N(ARIO) CONIVGI BENE MERENTI POSVIT. Roughly translated: "The 17th of Kalens of April (March 16). Here lies in peace Marcia Romania Celsa, senatorial lady who lived 38 years 2 months and 11 days. Senator Flavius Januarinus, former regular consul, made this tomb for his wife who deserves it." Inv. 74002/6. Musee de l'Arles Antique, Arles, France.
