- Tympanum: Christ in Majesty, Detail
- Caption
- Detail of Christ in Majesty from the west tympanum, sculpted by Gislebertus around 1130. In 1766, when Autun's canons covered the tympanum with a thick layer of plaster, Christ's head kept protruding out of the plaster. So they hacked it off and cast it aside; it was later discovered and has been returned to its proper place.
